Myrrh is extracted from a reddish-brown dried sap from a thorny tree known as Commiphora Myrrha. Myrrh oil is extracted through a steam distillation process. It has a mild, characteristic balsamic odor that is aromatic and spicy, resembles rosemary and lemon. Myrrh oil is used for indigestion, ulcers, colds, cough, lung congestion, arthritis pain, and cancer.

Blends well with:

Tea tree oil, Peppermint oil, Lavender oil, Thyme oil, and Patchouli oil

You can use 3–6 drops of essential oil per 1 teaspoon of carrier oil for adults. For children, you can use a drop of essential oil per 1 teaspoon of carrier oil.
You can use a drop or two of myrrh oil onto the lotion or moisturizer before applying it to your skin.
For immune-enhancing massage oil, blend 8-10 drops of Myrrh Essential Oil and other essential oil. Massage the blend on your body once or twice daily.
For a more sensual massage blend, that enhances libido, mix myrrh essential oil and other essential oils and slowly massage, avoiding any sensitive areas of the body.
